Live@Chapel: A sneaky peak

Our second Live@Chapel Festival went extremely well. 10 wonderful days of words and music in Seacroft Methodist Chapel; 844 people took part; 8,300 people listened online.

This will be the last time we use the Chapel in its current state. We are currently preparing a funding application to the Arts Council. If they say yes, then it will be the last piece in the funding jigsaw and we will have all the money we need to announce the creation of chapELFM: the first-ever dedicated arts venue in East Leeds.

And what we do know already is what a fabulous venue that would be. And that we have lots of support locally.

“When I heard they wanted to build an ELFM base in Seacroft I was over the moon. Anyone who lives in Seacroft (me included) would agree there is not enough to do round here. If it happens I will be there for every event!”
Jaimes Lewis Moran: Seacroft Resident and Friend of the Chapel
